Masha is an award-winning workforce security expert, speaker, and trainer focused on helping to secure organizations. She helps security leaders in enterprises predict, prevent, and proactively address security risks at an individual level to keep their companies safe from cyberthreats. Prior to helping establish the company, Masha was a security executive at Salesforce where she built and led the Security Engagement team focused on improving security practices by employees, partners, and customers. In addition, Masha has been a member of the Board of Directors for the National Cyber Security Alliance and a regular presenter at conferences such as Black Hat, RSAC, ISSA, Enigma, and SANS.

In her role at Elevate, Masha helps organizations like Equifax, One Main Financial, and other global entities battle real threats related to ransomware, account takeover, and data loss by using data science and predictive analytics to mitigate risk.
When asked why this creative, new approach was so effective, Masha explains, “With nearly two-thirds of data breaches tied to human risk, we sought to truly understand the root cause – human error, which has been considered one of cybersecurity’s longest unsolved problems. Once the data revealed that critical detail, it became immediately clear that a new approach was required. That’s when we began to develop our data-driven predictive analytics approach.”
